Kysar Keynote Award Proclamation

The award was established in 1994 to honor both our long-time conductor and the outstanding members of the choir.

Whereas The Boeing Employees Choir is a vital entity in the Puget Sound region, and

Whereas The Boeing Employees Choir's musical contributions have earned it the reputation as a premier choral group, and

Whereas The Boeing Employees Choir recognizes that the energy, devotion and talent of its director has been the significant factor in its success for the past fourteen years, and

Whereas The Boeing Employees Choir wishes to recognize his service in meaningful, long-lasting tribute;

Be it therefore resolved that an annual award is hereby established.

The Michael Kysar Keynote Award

is to be bestowed upon a choir member selected for outstanding service.
