Last Concert with Conductor Michael Kysar
    Conductor: Michael Kysar

Location: King of Kings Lutheran Church
    18207 - 108th SE in Renton

The choir is sounding great, we have a fun program of favorites, and our conductor, Michael Kysar is retiring from the choir after 28 years. Please join us in wishing him well.

Those who have enjoyed his comments at our concerts, and have enjoyed the beautiful music he has helped us to share with you over the years since 1982, and even those who haven't heard us before should be here for this special occasion.

It will be a special event for the many alumni who have retired from the choir over the years. Alumni will be invited to sing along on some songs they will think they remember, and some that they will never forget.

Here is a note from Michael: "Working with The Boeing Employees Choir has been the absolute musical highlight of my life. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for the many close friends that are and have been in the choir. We have performed over 500 performances together, for audiences as small as 12, as large as 50,000 for a Mariner's game, 1,000 military people and their families in Ulm, Germany, and 1,000 high school students (100 girls and 700 boys) in New Zealand. We've helped raise money for kidney patients, cancer patients, food banks, churches, the Heart Fund, and many others. I thank the choir and our audiences for helping to make the years absolutely wonderful."

The concert is May 16th at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Renton at 4:00 pm.
