Choral students at Tahoma Middle School evaluated the experience and rated it an A+, with more than 75 percent agreeing that “It was a great experience, and I would do it again.”

    2005 Standing Ovation Awards Presented to Eight Supporters

    The choir’s Standing Ovations Awards were given out to eight individuals at the annual Christmas party December 17, held at the home of Danete O’Neil.

    Norma King Receives 2005 Keynote Award

    Norma King was presented with the 2005 Kysar Keynote Award for her role in launching Sing for Life. The award, presented December 17, was the highlight of our annual Christmas get together.

    Dresden's Frauenkirche Opens With Help from The Boeing Employees Choir

    October 30, 2005 -- Some 60,000 people celebrated the reopening of Dresden's restored baroque cathedral Sunday -- 60 years after Allied bombs destroyed the 18th-century church and its famed bell-shaped dome during World War II.

    After visiting Coventry, England in 1988, we wanted to visit Dresden. Both cities were severely damaged during World War II.

    Congratulations to Dick and Sandy McElroy, joint recipients of the 2004 Michael Kysar Keynote Award, bestowed at our annual recognition party December 12, 2004.

    Boeing Employees Choir Goes Down Under for Summer 1999 Tour

    Singing our way from an urban soup kitchen to the Sydney Opera House, The Boeing Employees Choir made new friends for Boeing on a two-week tour of Australia and New Zealand in July, 1999.

    2003 Standing Ovation Awards

    Some people in the wings do more than their share to make this organization "sing" on a logistical level, and this annual program is our formal acknowledgment of their efforts.

    2003's Kysar Keynote Award goes to Jon Cannon

    Jon has guided our chor with remarkable skill, inexhaustible patience, insight and intelligence, bringing us to today's self-sufficient organization.
