Fresh off our tour to Greece, we were feeling meaningfully impacted by having made music together in such a beautiful country, rich with history, stunning ancient sites and amazing seas. One of the most covered songs in the world, Summertime, has been recorded by artists such as Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, Lana Del Rey and now, the Boeing Choir! Oye la Musica, was one of our favorite pieces to perform. Our Greek audiences were delighted by the spiritual, Go Tell it on the Mountain. And, Cum Sancto Spiritu, kept us in good stead with the clergy!

We have copies of previous recordings too. Sing for Joy is solely holiday music, but the others cover a variety of genres from Broadway to Brahms, including, 

Morten Lauridsen’s beautiful Sure on this Shining Night.

The popular standard, When I Fall in Love, which has been recorded by Doris Day, Tom Jones, Rick Astley and Celine Dion.

Wade in the Water, a powerful spiritual.

And, Blackbird, written by Paul McCartney during the American Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s, using the British slang ‘Bird’ for ‘Girl’ in the title.
