How to Invite the Choir to Sing for You

IMG_3097We always look forward to making new friends with our music. A visit by The Boeing Employees Choir is a thrilling occasion and our wide-ranging repertoire delights all tastes. We promise that your guests will have fond memories of your event long after it is over.

We give memorable performances to numerous churches, conventions and banquets, and receive standing ovations with our varied program of humorous and heartwarming music. If you are an event planner, see see the Frequently Asked Questions page.

We ask venue planners to support the choir with honoraria ($500). The amount may vary depending on the size of the audience and the purpose of the event. We have set a minimum honorarium ($500) for churches and other charitable groups. These donations may qualify as tax deductible expenses because our choir is a federally-recognized 501(c)3 organization. In the past Boeing generously supported its recreation clubs, but now that help has been eliminated. The choir prefers to give free concerts, but economic realities require a stipend from our hosts. Some of our expenses include renting rehearsal facilities and storage for our music library and piano, buying new music, the services of our conductor and accompanist, as well as the usual business expenses of insurance, licenses, royalties, etc. (By the way, we could never afford to pay our conductor and accompanist what they are really worth to us.) For more information, see the Frequently Asked Questions page.

To book a concert or to learn more about our performances and our schedules, send an email to our scheduler (scheduling@boeingchoir.org) or our President (President@boeingchoir.org). We attempt to fill our schedule about a year in advance, not only for the convenience of venue planners, but to accommodate the busy lives of our singers. The holiday season is an especially popular time.
